Creek Critters is Back!!

Join us at the Beaver Creek Picnic Area, every Saturday from 1-2pm, to search for critters in Beaver Creek! While you’re there, you’ll discover all kinds of interesting creatures and learn about the role they play in creating a healthy ecosystem. Make sure you bring your water shoes and be prepared to get wet!

You may remember that, last year, we had Creek Critter programs on Saturdays AND Tuesdays. For now, Tuesday programs are TBD, but watch this space for updates.

The Beaver Creek Picnic Area is located about 9 miles down the Walter W. Smith Memorial Parkway, so it might take you an extra 30 minutes to get there once you’ve entered the park – plan accordingly!

Also keep in mind, there may be one-way traffic control in some areas along the Parkway this weekend as our fire crews monitor and mop up the recent prescribed burn. If that is the case, your arrival to Beaver Creek may be even further delayed by up to ten minutes.
