Celebrating the South Grove Preserve: Joining the Old-Growth Forest Network – CA State Parks Week

Join California State Parks and the Old-Growth Forest Network in this celebration of the South Grove Preserve joining the Old-Growth Forest Network. Ceremony will be held near the Visitor’s Center. After the dedication we will drive to the South Grove Trail Head to go for a hike through this pristine old-growth Giant Sequoia Forest.
Plan for 4 to 5 hours and bring a bagged lunch and water for the hike.
Meet at the Visitor Center Pioneer’s Cabin Tree Display at 10 a.m.
