California Naturalist Meet & Greet
November 29, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Please join us on Thursday November 29 from 10AM to 12:30 PM in the Education Center Classroom to answer questions and provide more information about the upcoming California Naturalist Program
This coming May and June 2019 we will be offering our third California Naturalist course at Calaveras Big Trees State Park!
We especially hope that our dedicated supporters participate in the course as it is a great way to increase your knowledge of the natural world of California and Calaveras Big Trees State Park.
We will be hosting an information session on Thursday November 29 from 10AM to 12:30 PM in the Education Center Classroom to answer questions and provide more information.
You can drop by anytime during that time, or contact Wendy Harrison or Dexter Hardcastle if you can’t make it to the session. This is a statewide program partnering with the UC Agriculture and Natural Resources. You can visit their website for more information: UC Davis information. Click Here for even more information.
Course Details:
The 40 hour course will take place Thursday evenings and Friday days at the park on the following dates: May 23/24, May 30/31, June 13/14, and June 20/21.
Registration for the course will open in January. There will be a link on the CBTA and CA Naturalist websites to register.
Class size is limited to 24 (last time we had a long waiting list, so register early).
The cost is $300 per student with possible $50 scholarship available (one of the least expensive in the state thanks to support of CBTA).
We hope to see you or hear from you with any questions you may have!
