SUMMARY:South Grove Guided Hike
DESCRIPTION:New this year.  A wonderful way to see the South Grove and to learn about  the Giant Sequoias at the same time. \nMeet at the South Grove parking lot at 9:45 am. \nThe hike takes 2.5-3 hours.  They do not do the full loop\, just the left loop which is shorter and goes directly to the Agassiz Tree. \nThe trail is relatively flat going that way and the Guided tour stops at the Agassiz Tree. \nThe trail is moderate to hard depending on the weather and hikers’ physical condition. \nMosquito repellent is recommended along with good hiking shoes\, a hat\, plenty of water and an optional snack. \nNot recommended for young kids. \nPlease call with any questions.  209-795-7980
