DESCRIPTION:Conditions permitting\, join the guided walk around the beautiful North Grove Trail. \nEvery Saturday at 11:30 am.  Meet at the Visitor Center Plaza. \nWalks will become snowshoe walks when snow conditions dictates. \nAn easy walk around the North Grove trail led by knowledgeable Docents and staff.  All ages are welcome. \nThe North Grove Trail is just under 2 miles long\, and easily walked by most people. Allow at least 90 minutes (or up to 2 hours) for the tour. DESCRIPTION:Come look at the stars! Docents will be sharing information and telling stories as everyone gazes\nat the night sky. Three telescopes will give you a closer look at the moon\, planets\, and deep-sky objects. \nMeet us at the Scenic Overlook in the park\, just a few miles past the Visitor Center. This is one\nof the best night sky viewing areas in the region. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on. \nThe Astronomy program at the park is run entirely by docent volunteers with significant investment\nby the Calaveras Big Trees Association.\nPlease join us!
